The Sennheiser ADN D1 Digital Delegate Conferencing Unit is part of Sennheiser’s ADN conferencing system. The device connects to the ADN CU1 central unit via Cat 5 cable and functions as a delegate’s microphone and playback speaker. The unit features a flexible 15″ super-cardioid gooseneck microphone for capturing audio and dual loudspeakers within the base for audio playback. The microphone operates in either direct access mode, wherein any delegate may speak at any time or in “request” mode wherein you must add your name to a list of delegates waiting to speak, and wait to be granted permission by the chairperson.

For adjusting to the needs of different delegates, the unit features a flexible 15″ gooseneck microphone
Super-Cardioid Capsule
The microphone features a super-cardioid capsule to reduce ambient noise while capturing what is in front of the microphone
Microphone Key Button
When the system is set to direct access or override mode, you simply press and hold down the microphone key button at the base of the unit to speak. When the system is set to request mode, pressing the microphone key button will add you to the list of delegates who are waiting for the chairperson to grant them permission to speak
LED Indicators
When the microphone is active, the microphone button on the base of the unit and the LED signal indicator ring below the capsule will glow red
DSP Limiter
To prevent clipping, the unit features a built-in DSP limiter
Headphone Out
For listening with headphones, the unit includes a 3.5mm headphone jack with volume control
Hidden Cable Connectors
The Cat 5 cables connect to the bottom of the conference unit so that the jacks are not visible
Optional Strain Relief Adapter
For permanent installations, a cable strain relief adapter may be attached to the base of the unit. This adapter prevents the cables from being accidentally pulled out
